Hong Kong is dead, no more international movies, no longer the financial capital of Asia. Dont forget 2019 ✊
HK I will go if my health allow me to. But some of your reviews such as NY or cities in Calif.? if it is more than 3,4 years old, will definitely need revising. I would have tried to avoid NY Calif cities and other Democratic run hell holes as much and as far as I can. I live in Toronto and the former fastest way to get there were to fly the polar route near the north pole, and I am glad the Ukraine war ended that route which I considered slightly more dangerous than over the ocean. The savings for fuel and other expenses went to general revenue for the airlines.
I❤ Mexico ! When I’ve retired I’ll live there …🎉🎉🎉🇲🇽🇲🇽

Thank you! Well done! I really appreciate your video! I'm going to Athens for the first time with my husband and you did give me a lot of good ideas. Thank you again.
Air canada offers paid upgrades via the app during checkin
Thank you for such a high quality documentary. High production value has become a rarity now thanks to online content sharing platforms.
Please do make more HK content!! Very touching video and makes me proud to be a local!
I have the sad news that by 2024, a lot of Burgermeister locations have popped up all over the city while - predictably - the quality has gone down.
Tips are pre-included in your bill in Switzerland.
“The most expensive Big Mac in the world” they don’t know a Brazilian Big Mac 😂😂
The worst thing about Zurich are the arrogant people there, and the best thing the train to Berne. Also, stop trying to make tipping a thing in Europe. Especially in Switzerland, tips are pre-included in your bill.
TLDW, short answer is no.
I know someone who did almost the opposite. A flight from Canada to Poland was $2000, but a flight from Canada to London was $800, and from there only $15 to Poland. So he saved more than $1000 by landing in London first.
A taxi driver charged me more than 30 euros for the same dıstance two years ago (2022) which was incredible and I do not recommend arguing with them... :D
Terrific video
Imagine using jetfuel to cook your midnight snack...
This video was so much worth every minute put into its creation that I applaud to its creator! From the start, it feels like a big-bidget production we have from BBC or NBC or other respected media channels. As a frequent consumer of documentaries on RUclips I must say good filming and narrative always stands out.
Your "not as bad as Norway" caveat in terms of expensiveness is a great comfort to me, as I'm traveling to Helsinki from... Norway 😂 Anyways, I absolutely loved this video! Informative, entertaining, heartfelt.
We will see you soon, Hong Kong!
Thankyou. Thank you❤ Im in the UK now im 15. Left hk at 2022. But i would still get back
What a cringeworthy piece of BS. Makes me puke just listening to the audio while typing this out.
Hello fellow chinese bot 19:32
Great video. 🫶🏾
It’s a shame it’s so run down now
wonderful video
Great or great great grandfather was from there then moved to the US..hope to travel there one day...
Even hongkong belong to china now but they're more manner than china. Again They're hongkonger not china.! For me hongkong is my second home after my own country. I love hongkong ❤
Just to correct some info. Kai Tak airport was closed and the new HK international airport ("the greatest dowry since Cleopatra", as one British governor once put it) was opened in 1998, not in 2005.
It seems very peaceful and safe. It’s expensive, but you get what you pay for.
Your video is so tastefully made. I will be visiting in a month's time and I look forward to your recommendation
€18? I don’t think so. It’s €25.
Whenever I come back to this video I always wonder what deity you impressed in order to get such glorious, still, sunny weather lol
Was just in Hong Kong for a month and half, still incredible place to be and absolutely loved it.
Me: $75 USD for a box of chocolate covered almonds!! Also me: Jotting down note to buy a box during my upcoming trip to Geneva. 😊
I went to Hong Kong and Bangkok in the mid 80's. That was the greatest trip of my life. The cities were almost magical. They were adventurous and mysterious. I never forgot and I spent a lifetime comparing things to it. This year I went back to both. They've both grown a lot. They both changed a lot. The mystery and adventure is gone. Faded away. Now they're just cities. The magic died
Hong Kong was the first city that I visited as a traveller, and I fell in love instantly. I truly in grief due to the cruel things that Hong Kong’s citizens get through.
For years western foreigners acted as if they are more superior. It is no more, the world has changed. It is now the era of China!
Thank you for capturing different sides of Hong Kong with this next-level cinematography. As a local HKer, I couldn't agree more with what you said. A lot of people were frustrated and felt hopeless about the place, while a lot of others have been working hard to preserve Hong Kong's local culture and values. Just as Hong Kong has always been, there are always a lot of things going on in this vibrant and lively city, creating endless dynamics.Thank you for reminding us to appreciate our beautiful culture when sometimes we were too frustrated about the government to even see that.
Do you write books? If not, you should.
HK is one of a very few countries I’ll never forget. Not gonna go back though. I want that old HK to live in my memories, not the one it has become.
Man, this guy really had lived in Hong Kong 😂 you even know "Wok Hai"
hongkong clout and influence greatly diminished after china took over
When you eat fresh live boiled shrimp , BBQ baby pig , stinky tofu, soy egg, Hot Milk Tea , FranchToast, Fresh Noodles , you will know how amazing and what you thought was good was all a lie to the wonderful food and beautiful and amazing personalitys that make up the super cheeseen HK overdrive!
no, as long as tsi tsi pee is ruling
Yeah English Canadians who use a crappy québécois fast food item as a national identifier for them (that we don’t even use for us), and was only considered a national identifier for Canadians when Americans noticed it is such a typically English Canadian thing to do. You didn’t visit “le pied de cochon” or “joe beef” some of the worthier places and you completely forgot about the upscale joints that are true international 5stars. I don’t understand this poutine-smoke-meat-on-a-bagel obsession. We’ve got so much more depth.
A travel OnlyFans. I Like it!
Which platform is prefered between patreon or here on youtube for that 5 dollar price point? Im not sure which gives yall a bigger cut (if you're allowed to tell us). Happy to see more options to support yall!
That's really kind. RUclips generally is better at the smaller price tiers.
People in the west is making it sounds like HK is dead after the riot, but everything stayed the same, the only difference is that some busniesses closed and some new ones opened, everyone is still doing the same thing, thinking the same thing (housing) and living the same way HK people had been complaining the same thing, no one has ever been satisifyed with anything, you think they have lost their "voice", brother, they have been complaining about that since the british was there, the entire city is filled with people who are angry with everything, mad at every form of government, mad at the rich people, mad at public transport despite having one of the best public transport network in the world, Hong Kong people are spoiled, even if you give them free housing for everyone they WILL somehow find something to nitpick, THEY EVEN HATE THEMSELVES. Many people didnt realise is that HK is a political meat grinder, whenever the relation between the west and the east sours, the city suffers, western propaganda is injecting the locals with reasons to get mad about literlly everything, if you think CCP's propaganda is working in HK then you're delusional, nobody in HK would read/hear about what they have to say, free market exists in HK and it's filtering out the CCP stuff. The problem with the city is overpopulation, a ruined manufacturing sector(ruined by the british just before they left), a ruined housing market(it's inevitable), government is giving people public housing for rent so cheap it may as well be free BUT the people are still unhappy because of how long the wait is(There are only so much land you can build off of, not to mention the price of the land), the real problem of HK is there are simply too many people, too many mouth to satisfy. The ultimate irony is that the REAL hong kongers are the indigenous villagers, they were the actual hong kongers, the people you see today are almost entirely made up of migrants, to give you an idea of the hypocrisy of the "HK" people, they came for the ecomonic boom, now they can't leave and taking up more and more space, after the manufacturing slowed, their money had nowhere to invest so they turned to the housing market, causing the price to SKYROCKET, now they are demanding more and more public housing, even trying to get the government to claim lands from the indigenous people. Most of the people disliked the villagers becuase of covetousness, resentment, they have a twisted mentaily towards them, they think the villagers are born into their houses and land, therefore unworthy of the privileges.
Half the video is spent on advertisements and information on transportation. Hideous
I like the transportation info he provides in his videos, it’s part of the format and it’s useful practical info
